  • Patient survey to 120 patients from 12 different age groups and disease areas
  • 12 expressed interest
  • Meetings required every 12 weeks
  • Constitution, mission statement, aims and objectives
  • Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer
  • Core membership approximately 15-20 people.
  • Continued survey to establish increased members.

Aims and Objectives

  • To act as a sounding board for Practice health Care and health Education policies proposed by the Practice Management Team.
  • Giving Doctors and Patients the opportunity to meet and discuss topics of mutual interest
  • Provide a forum for patients to make suggestions about the practice and health care needs
  • To develop pathways for dissemination of health information and literature to patients#
  • To act as a representative body to influence the local provision of health and Social Care at Primary Care Trust and Consortia Board level.

We meet regularly once a quarter, so if you are interested in joining our group, please contact the Practice Manager – Cathy Nicholls on 01384 77194 who will give you information about the group.

    We are now booking appointments for this winters flu injections. If you usually have a flu jab please call reception to book your appointment

    If  you provide us with your up to date mobile telephone number we now have a texting system which will remind you of the date and time of your appointments.

    Health Checks – It is important to receive a Health Check to ensure you are looking after your health, please make an appointment with our nursing team.
